Screw-in filters are mount-agnostic — 12 verified lenses on other mounts also take 55mm: see every 55mm lens.

A step-up ring also lets a 55mm lens use one size-larger filters, which is how many photographers standardize a single filter set across lenses.

Thread sizes verified 2026-09-03 against per-mount lens specification tables and, where no such table exists (L-mount), the manufacturers’ own published specification pages, matched brand-strictly to our lens index. Lenses whose thread we could not uniquely verify are left out rather than guessed — coverage grows as verified data lands.
