Buy one good set of 77mm filters and it also fits:

• Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM — 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1
• Canon RF 14-35mm f/4 L IS USM — 14-35mm f/4
• Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM — 24-105mm f/4
• Canon RF 50mm f/1.2 L USM — 50mm f/1.2
• Canon RF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM — 70-200mm f/4

Screw-in filters are mount-agnostic — 30 verified lenses on other mounts also take 77mm: see every 77mm lens.

A step-up ring also lets a 77mm lens use one size-larger filters, which is how many photographers standardize a single filter set across lenses.

Thread sizes verified 2026-09-03 against per-mount lens specification tables and, where no such table exists (L-mount), the manufacturers’ own published specification pages, matched brand-strictly to our lens index. Lenses whose thread we could not uniquely verify are left out rather than guessed — coverage grows as verified data lands.
